Solidworks Mechanical Designer (Machinery Design)

We have been retained to search for a Mechanical Design Engineer for our client in Vaughan, ON. Our client is an OEM/Equipment Manufacturer for the Manufacturing industry. 

Your responsibilities will be:

• Create new Design, Drafting drawings using SolidWorks from ideas and concepts
• Design, specify, prototype new production improvements including new equipment and processes
• Coordinate and manage contractors as needed including Automation Specialists and Control Design
• Manage projects in USA and Canada and lead the Design Review process.

You will possess:

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree or Mechanical Technologist diploma. 
• 5-8 years of solid Mechanical Design Engineering skills using Solid Works AND Autocad
• Create Bill of Materials (BOM), Specifications and Design Drawing specifications using Solid Works
