Company Description:   Our client is leading International supplier of formwork and scaffolding systems, offering civil engineering solutions around the world.   Job Description:   The position reports to the Yard Operations Supervisor in the Operations Department.   Scope of Position:   The Service Coordinator is responsible for safely, effectively, and accurately coordinating the service of returned rental materials. This role will assist with leading the Returns team to ensure a high standard of accuracy, organization, and timely receiving of incoming materials. As Service Coordinator, they will actively plan, prepare, schedule, and track all service, while upholding an exceptional level of customer service. This role plays an integral part in overseeing and maintaining quality control standards, and accurately managing inventory of materials in the yard.   Key Tasks and Responsibilities:  

  • Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking
  • Prepare and maintain workstations
  • Create and execute a daily work plan
  • Assist Supervisor with coaching & training of new or contracted workers
  • Ensure the secure and accurate transportation of material to the stock yard
  • Ensure the secure and accurate loading of workstations
  • Daily uploading and organizing the damage pictures onto the server
  • Perform quality audits of the condition of serviced materials
  • Communicate any stock adjustments found during service phase
  • Perform and assist with inventory checks as required
  • Liaising with CCA’s/ Returns Supervisor for return service completion or material priority order
  • Establish, communicate, and meet service deadlines
  • Attend toolbox and safety meetings as required
  • Adhere to company procedures and policies to minimize errors
  • Ensure that serviced material meets PERI quality standards
  • Strive for operational excellence
  • Ensure the Occupational Health & Safety Act and PERI health and safety standards and practices are adhered to
  • Respect working procedure
  • Use protective personal equipment when required
  • Report hazards and accidents
  • Take care of your health and safety and that of the others
  • Other related duties as assigned

   

Requirements

Requirements:  

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a warehouse, distribution center or rental yard environment
  • Experience in organizing and maintaining inventory and inventory records
  • A working knowledge of applicable provincial health and safety requirements and an ability to apply these practices
  • Experience in a stockyard environment preferred
  • MS Office applications, with proficiency in Word and Excel

   

Additional Comments

Keys / Comments:   Hours will be from Monday to Friday from 7:00am until 3.30pm Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed Position is primarily performed outdoors during all seasons, with part office duties
