Registered Respiratory Technologists
Private respiratory community clinics are hiring Registered Respiratory Technologists throughout Ontario.

The Registered Respiratory Technologist will provide clinical expertise in the provision of respiratory therapies (oxygen, complex care and CPAPP to patients in the community, in a safe and effective manner; ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with standards.




  • Current registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in “good standing” with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
  • 2 years of experience, with home care or acute care experience preferred

    Special Skills or Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated current theoretical and clinical expertise with respect to community Respiratory Therapy practices and education
  • CPR AED Certification: CPR Instructor Certification an asset
    Competency in Microsoft Office
  • Certified Respiratory Educator (CRE) an asset

    Essential Duties:

  • Visual and audio acuity; excellent English communications skills, including oral and written; ability to present in groups of
    varying sizes and backgrounds
  • Problem solving focus with high situational awareness and emotional intelligence
  • Defined as physically medium; occasional walking and standing and climbing of stairs; computer work; neck flexion; frequent
    push-pull for vehicle doors; occasional lifting of up to 31lbs, rare to 58 lbs.

    Patient Service:

  • Provide ongoing patient education on safe use and handling of oxygen and respiratory therapy equipment; develop and support
    patient centred care plans; conduct thorough respiratory assessments
  • Build and nurture positive relationships with patients, their families and other health care providers in the circle of care
    Determine resource and visit requirements and funding eligibility necessary to maintain the highest standard of appropriate
    patient care; utilize effective assessment and active listening skills virtually, by phone an in person
  • Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with local team, referral sources and external stakeholders in the
    provision of excellence in client, care contributing to overall operational success
  • Provide in-service education, share respiratory care knowledge; teach CPR as required
  • Participate in implementation of goals, objectives, policies and standards in accordance with the mission, values and goals of the company
  • Must be able to drive on a frequent basis holding a valid full G Driver’s License (for three years)
  • Salary Range: $65,000 -$70,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits and bonus.
