Project Manager – Building Materials
Description
** The base salary for this role is fixed at $70,000 - $75,000. There is a bonus, Paid Time Off, Full Benefits and an RRSP Matching. We do not need a P.Eng Engineer. Ability to Manage Multiple projects simultaneously. Non-Remote. Candidates living within a 20 km radius of Scarborough, ON will only be considered. (Markham, Richmond Hill, Ajax, Scarborough, Whitby)
Our client is an international corporation that manufactures specialized construction and industrial equipment. They are headquartered in Toronto, where they also manufacture their products, who are then installed all across North America.
Job Description:
Once a client has decided to award the contract to the company, one of the project managers is assigned to the project and will be responsible for ensuring that all of the operations required to complete the project are carried out on time and on budget by the company’s relevant divisions. This includes generally: · Reviewing project scope with the client, scheduling and contract administration, obtaining all required drawings and files from Engineering, ensuring manufacturing, shipping, installation and commissioning are carried out according to schedule and budget. · Project Managers are therefore the main customer contacts in the company, and they are responsible for ensuring all customer requirements are met, and that a professional competent image is portrayed.
Requirements
Requirements:
- College diploma or PMP designation.
- Successful relevant experience (5 or more years), in managing engineered to order construction equipment projects.
- Ability to effectively multi task, and successfully interface with varied trades and disciplines both internally and externally.
