ENGINEERING MANAGER
The Engineering Manager is responsible to manage, coach, supervise and develop Junior Design Engineers and lead the Design Review Process. Performing Detail design in SolidWorks (60%), the Engineering Manager will have a strong background in Solid Works Design of Machinery and Equipment.
In addition to be a Working Engineering Manager, the Engineering Manager will be able to Manage up to 30+ Engineering projects at various stages of development (Prototype, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Final Installation). The Engineering Manager will be able to coordinate, facilitate many contractors in USA and Canada in order for final assembly and installation.
Providing Remote Field Support to 2 Field Millwrights, the Engineering Manager will be able to grow the Engineering Department and responsible for hiring Design Engineers.
Providing Systems, Processes and internal organization to the Engineering Change Request process and the Department, you will be able to provide leadership to the Engineering team.
You will possess:
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree. P.Eng
- 8-10 years of experience in Mechanical Design using Solid Works. Preference in Management of projects related to Machine Design, Farm Equipment or Agriculture Equipment. Material Handling Equipment , Conveyers, Mining Equipment
- Strong Project Management skills with the ability to manage 25/30 projects simultaneously at various stages of design and development (Prototype, FAT, final assembly and customer installation
- 3-5 years of experience as an Engineering Manager having the ability to lead, coach and develop junior engineers to their next stages in their careers.
- Ability to provide systems, processes, workflow to the Engineering department.
Salary: $130,000- $150,000 per annum+
Location: Vaughan, ON (5 days in the office)
