Medical Intake IME Referral Coordinator/ Scheduler (SABS) experience

An Independent Medical Assessment Department in North York is recruiting for a Medical Intake IME Referral Coordinator /Scheduler with (SABS) experience in North York.

The IME l Referral Coordinator/Scheduler must have SABS experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for booking medical assessments, arranging all transportation and hotel accommodations, recruiting physicians to our growing roster of medical professionals and preparing and sending patient medical documentation through our secure protocols.


Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist client in taking referral details over the phone, email or by fax

Confirming/assessment details

Prepare client and patient confirmation of assessment details

Sending patient medical file along with letter of instruction to each medical professional

Contacting medical professionals to join our medical roster

Follow up with all pending medical reports

Overseeing company’s day to day tasks from the start of process until the product is delivered to the clients

Assisting in the completion of Treatment and Assessment Plans OCF -18)

Arrange all transportation


Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must have a post-secondary degree or diploma in health sciences, (preferred but not a prerequisite and have strong customer service skills

Experience reviewing Independent Medical Evaluations, SABS

Excellent organization and co-ordination skills to follow through on specific file matters, ensure timeliness comprehensiveness and self-motivated

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with medical professionals

Excellent analytical, critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills to interpret information and identify specific areas that require further investigation, action, etc.

Asserviveness and sense of urgency to co-ordinate activities with other, obtain your cooperation and support

Possess the ability to work independently as well as a great team player

Excellent computer skills in MS Word and Excel

Strong customer service background
