Solution Account Manager

Compensation: Client will provide a comparable base salary + bonus structure for the right candidate based on education, experience and cultural fit.

Our client is a solution provider to many businesses in the transformer OEM space. They value in partnering with their client’s organization internationally, understanding their client’s challenges and providing a total end-to-end business and engineering solution to their problems. With a world-class highly recognized manufacturing facility located in Burlington, ON and rapidly expanding growth plans our client prides themselves in being best-in-class in the power generation space.

We are looking for a strong Account Manager to generate revenue from existing businesses. Our client works with some of top OEM Transformer manufactures in NAFTA as they strive to be best-in-class and top-of-mind for our client’s need.



Who do we hire?

You are a true business developer. You are a solutions provider. You understand the company’s value proposition and able to strategically align the customer’s value, mission to that of your business. You have worked as a solutions provider in the past – listening to the customer and relating to their needs. A solid understanding of manufacturing would be needed for this role.

You can listen, analyze and relate to your customers. You can build relationships very quickly and have customers trust you upon an initial phone call. Think of yourself as a key liaison between a world-class manufacturing facility and your customer. You are not afraid to talk with Senior Engineering Professionals at the Management level or Maintenance Managers on the shop floor. You can work side-by-side with our client’s internal in-house engineers, shop floor and operations management team.

Product knowledge and industry knowledge is secondary to Cultural fit. The ideal candidate would already be a solid Account Manager providing solutions and be able able to work 90% in our manufacturing facility located in Burlington, ON.
